Raf Geerts Betontrappen

Raf Geerts builds concrete staircases from Westerlo. They do not come from a catalogue: he builds the formwork on site, step by step, between the walls of the house, and strips it once the concrete has set.

His clients are building or renovating, so the site has to explain that craft and turn it into a request for a quote.

We built a bold, dark site in concrete grey and signal red, with the work in four steps: measure, build the formwork, reinforce, strip. A gallery sorted by type of staircase shows the stairs at every stage, because the formwork is where the craft is.

The quote form asks for what Raf needs to price a staircase: the type of stair, the floor-to-floor height and a plan or photo, which clients can upload straight from their phone.
